WINNIPEG, MB., April 25, 2022 – The Winnipeg Football Club today announced that effective May 1, 2022 guests will no longer be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend Valour FC matches or Winnipeg Blue Bombers games at IG Field.
The change in protocol will also apply to events held at IG Field unless the event has its own protocols that differ from the protocols being announced today. All policies and procedures will remain subject to change. Since March of 2020, the Winnipeg Football Club has worked with the CFL as well as Manitoba Health in monitoring all pertinent COVID-19 activity. This has positioned the Club to make informed decisions throughout the pandemic.
“We would like to thank Manitobans for continuing to follow public health orders and getting vaccinated, which has helped keep our community safe and allowed us to get to this point,” said President and CEO, Wade Miller. “We can’t wait for the Valour FC home opener which is just around the corner May 1, and for a full Winnipeg Blue Bombers regular season on the football side to once again defend our championship.”
Winnipeg Blue Bombers season tickets can be purchased here and single game tickets are available for purchase here. The Valour FC home opener is May 1 against Forge FC, and the first Blue Bombers pre-season game against the Edmonton Elks is May 27 at IG Field.
